Responsibilities
Conduct market research to identify potential merchants and business opportunities.
Develop a pipeline of prospective merchants through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and industry events.
Reach out to potential merchants and present the benefits of partnering with our company.
Conduct presentations and meetings to demonstrate the value proposition of our services.
Negotiate contract terms and agreements with merchants.
Facilitate the onboarding process, ensuring all necessary documentation and compliance requirements are met.
Provide training and support to new merchants to ensure a smooth transition.
Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with acquired merchants to ensure long-term satisfaction and retention.
Monitor and analyze the performance of acquired merchants to ensure they meet business objectives.
Provide regular reports and updates to management on merchant acquisition activities and outcomes.
Work closely with the marketing, sales, and operations teams to align acquisition strategies with overall business goals.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve merchant acquisition processes and tools.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales.
Proven experience in merchant acquisition, sales, or business development.
Strong track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
Analytical skills to assess market trends and merchant performance.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing opportunities.
