• Develop a pipeline of prospective merchants through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and industry events.
• Reach out to potential merchants and present the benefits of partnering with our company.
• Conduct presentations and meetings to demonstrate the value proposition of our services.
• Negotiate contract terms and agreements with merchants.
• Facilitate the onboarding process, ensuring all necessary documentation and compliance requirements are met.
• Provide training and support to new merchants to ensure a smooth transition.
• Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with acquired merchants to ensure long-term satisfaction and retention.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of acquired merchants to ensure they meet business objectives.
• Provide regular reports and updates to management on merchant acquisition activities and outcomes.
• Work closely with the marketing, sales, and operations teams to align acquisition strategies with overall business goals.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve merchant acquisition processes and tools.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales.
• Proven experience in merchant acquisition, sales, or business development.
• Strong track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Analytical skills to assess market trends and merchant performance.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing opportunities.
